In her restoration, Linda upgraded the home to include details Mr.
Wright had specified, but the original owners couldn't afford.
In fact, Linda oversaw much of the work herself, starting with the floor.

It took months to get it in, and when it finally came in, it was all in huge crates, and I had a tire tool thing, a crowbar, and I used to get out there and break open, and it was like finding a treasure with every crate that I got into, because they're all so individual; none of them are alike.

I literally hand washed and selected every one of these.
I had a huge brush, and I washed them down and selected them and brought them all in and put them around.
And uh, these things are pretty heavy, they, one day I found out they weigh anywhere from fifteen to nineteen pounds each.
And you were just hauling them all out...
