Over the past 20 years a growing number of infertile couples have been hiring surrogate mothers to have babies for them.
Hi dad, say hi dad.
Some people have deep reservations about surrogacy, others see it as an answer to their prayers.
I've seen it as the fastest way to get to the point where we have a baby.
For us it was a matter of if we do this, we can have a baby in 10 months.
The Relyeas live in San Diego, California.
After 4 years of failing to conceive a child, they have chosen surrogacy.
So I have that.

Oh yes, great.
I thought maybe this would be a cute outfit for um, the baby to wear to the baby shower.
Helps to grow into it though, right? They made their decision after exploring many other avenues.
And in fact they are still on the waiting list for an adopted baby.
Very cute.
I like it.
And then just because of the room having a cow theme, I had to get that! Oh.
That's great! I think we know maybe six couples that have adopted.
